One Office, Many Services

From cleanings to whitening, we can care for your whole smile under one roof in Thousand Oaks.

Invisalign straightens teeth with a series of clear, removable aligners instead of brackets and wires. Each aligner is shaped to move your teeth a small amount, and you switch to the next one in the series as your smile shifts toward its planned position. Because the aligners are clear and come out when you eat, many of our patients find they fit more easily into work, school, and family life than they expected.

Invisalign is a clear aligner system used to correct many common alignment concerns, such as crowding, gaps between teeth, and bite issues. Instead of adjusting wires at each visit, we plan your treatment as a series of custom aligners. Each one applies gentle, controlled pressure to guide specific teeth. Since the trays are removable, you take them out to eat, brush, and floss, then put them back in.

At 805 Dentistry in Thousand Oaks, Dr. Dar Radfar and our team offer Invisalign within a practice that treats children and adults. That means a parent and a teenager can often be seen by the same team for their orthodontic and everyday dental care. We also offer traditional metal braces. If aligners aren't the best fit for your situation, we can talk openly about other options under the same roof.

Good candidates are usually people who want straighter teeth and are ready to take an active role in their treatment. Aligners only work while they are in your mouth, so success depends heavily on wearing them as directed and keeping track of each set. Patients who value a discreet look and the freedom to remove their appliance often appreciate that responsibility.

Before recommending Invisalign, we look at your overall oral health, because teeth and gums should be in good shape before orthodontic movement begins. Situations we commonly discuss during a consultation include:

  • Crowded or overlapping teeth that are hard to clean
  • Gaps or spacing between teeth
  • Bite concerns you or a previous dentist have noticed
  • Teeth that have shifted after earlier orthodontic treatment
  • Orthodontic care that started at another office and needs to continue

Can I switch to 805 Dentistry if I started treatment elsewhere?

Yes, we accept orthodontic transfer patients. If you've recently moved to the area or need a new provider partway through treatment, we can review where things stand and talk through how to continue. We welcome patients from Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Westlake Village, Simi Valley, Moorpark, Camarillo, Agoura Hills, Oak Park, Calabasas, and nearby communities.

We also provide retainers for patients who finished orthodontic treatment somewhere else. If your old retainer is lost, worn out, or no longer fits, we can help you keep your results without needing to return to your original provider.

What happens after my aligners are finished?

After your final aligner, you'll move into the retention phase, which is just as important as active treatment. Teeth naturally tend to drift back toward their old positions. A retainer helps hold them where they belong. We'll explain how and when to wear yours, and we can replace retainers when needed.

Day-to-day care matters during and after treatment. Clean your aligners and retainers as instructed, brush and floss before putting them back in, and keep up with regular cleanings and exams so we can watch your teeth and gums. Since we're a family and general practice, those routine visits can happen right here alongside your orthodontic follow-ups. Patients with jaw clicking, jaw pain, or TMJ concerns can also mention them to us, as TMJ treatment is one of our practice's focus areas.

How can I pay for Invisalign?

We accept all major PPO insurance plans and will help you understand how your plan applies to orthodontic care. Coverage varies from plan to plan, so we encourage you to ask our team to review your benefits before treatment starts.

We also welcome self-pay patients, and financing is available for those who prefer to spread the cost over time. During your consultation, we'll go over your treatment plan and payment options clearly, so you can make a decision that fits your budget without surprises.

How do I get started with Invisalign at 805 Dentistry?

The first step is scheduling a consultation with our team. We'll examine your teeth, listen to what you'd like to change about your smile, and let you know whether Invisalign is a good match or whether another approach makes more sense.

Whether you're an adult who has thought about straightening your teeth for years, a parent exploring options for your child, or someone continuing treatment from another office, we'd be glad to help. Reach out to 805 Dentistry in Thousand Oaks to book your visit. We look forward to meeting you and planning your next step toward a straighter smile.
